The program:

Synopsis

Shift is a story about self-discovery. The interaction between characters that appear to be antagonists, a woman from a city and a wild woman from the forest, makes the civilized character confront her own life and change.

Director's BIO

Cecilia Puglesi was born in Mendoza, Argentina, where she became a designer. After graduation she moved to
Barcelona to study a master in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media. Two years later she moved to Austria to
work for a year. Back in Barcelona she completed her second master, this time in animation. In 2013 she moved to
NY with the help of a Fulbright grant to study the MFA Computer Art at the SVA. She currently works in NYC.

Yijun Liu is a CG 3D artist who focuses on modeling, lighting and compositing to create gentle and heartwarming
scenes. She grew up in the north of China and after four-years study in Beijing, now she lives in NYC where she has
graduated at the MFA Computer Art at SVA.
