Synopsis
Despite the multiplication of the feminine appartitions, from the teasing seductive long-haired figure to the heroïc amazones fighting against the forces of nature, the lyrics to 'She's Young' tell about one and only women, the muse of the guitariste/vocalist Wout Kemkens.
Director's BIO
Alice Saey is a Paris-born, Franco/Scottish artist whose work reveals a personal blend of graphic design, illustration and animation. "Celui qui mangea un oeil de poisson", her first animated short that served to illustrate her Masters thesis: “The role of the soundtrack in experimental graphic cinema” which was awarded the City of Strasbourg 2014 Pflimlin prize. Her first film has been presented in several international festivals and was honored with the Arte Creative Prize in March 2015. She recently directed her first music video for the song « She’s Young » by dutch band Shaking Godspeed, for which she received the first prize of the online international competition HAFFTube!, during the latest edition of the Holland Animation Film Festival.
