Director's BIO
Always looking for new ways of creative expression, Dax Norman is a prolific artist that hopes to help define what a 21st century
artist can be. Dax’s work in painting and animation seeks to depict multiple realities, coexisting on one plane, in motion. Dax likes
to break down images, using their shapes to create other imagery, aided by the subconscious. Because of this process, there
appear to be worlds within worlds, yet all are intertwined. The goal is to create a new experience for the viewer upon each
successive look. Through his work, Dax hopes to expand the viewer's own powers of perception. Currently residing in Austin,
Texas, Dax is a Lecturer of Digital Art at the University of Texas at Austin.Contacts
